About

CORRODE is a platformer/maze arcade game.

Your goal is to collect all points scattered through a random, jumbled level. Avoid touching hazards created by the Corrosive Ghost and survive as many levels as you can.

The difficulty varies with each level:

• The terrain shapes randomly, with unexpected paths and challenging jumps!
• More points appear, sometimes in seemingly impossible spots!
• The colors change, making the Ghost harder to follow!

The Ghost

The level is haunted by a Corrosive Ghost.

This invisible opponent will float towards your direction periodically, its presence being only felt by the terrain. Blocks touched by the Ghost turn into hazardous Corroded Blocks. Do not touch them!

Corroded Blocks will occasionally break. You can trick the Ghost to make way to new paths or reveal inaccessible points!

Scoring

Collecting points will increase your score. However, there are a few special tricks that will bring you a bonus:

• Make a daring jump to get a point at the bottom of the level!
• Collect points while in the Ghost's grasp!
• Collect a point surrounded by Corroded Blocks!
• Complete four levels without losing a life!

  With each run, try to beat your best level and highest score!

Added:

• Coyote time. Hard jumps are easier to pull off, especially in tight, 1 block high places.

Fixed:

• Pressing ESC during the Game Over screen no longer crashes the game.
• Fixed some colors. (e.g. from #EE1C24 to #FF0000)

Issues:

• Windowed mode is 800x800. Lower resolutions might make the game screen too big.
• Full screen mode works for 1080p resolution. Please let me know if visuals break in other resolutions.
